Family Science Night – Wednesday February 21^st 6-8pm

The Castlefrank School Council is very excited to be teaming up with Scientists in School for this year’s PRO Grant event – a Family Science Night!  Mark your calendars for Wednesday February 21^st from 6-8pm in the Castlefrank School Gymnasium for an evening of hands-on family fun and learning.

This event’s “Open House” style allows families to come and go as their schedule permits. Drop by between 6-8pm to explore, discover and participate together in a variety of fun science and math activities. All of the activities will use everyday materials so the learning can easily extend beyond the workshop into your home.  Discover some nifty ideas for incorporating science and math into baking, backyard explorations, neighbourhood excursions and play.

Please note that an adult must accompany your children. Registration is not mandatory; however we are asking families to kindly return the RSVP form that was sent home with your child in order to ensure that everyone has a fabulous hands-on science experience.  Extra forms can be found in the office, or printed off: Family Science Night letter-23oyljm.

We are still looking for a few volunteers for this event!  If you can lend a hand at the activity stations, or have an older child who would be interested in helping out, please contact castlefrankcouncil@gmail.com
