Castlefrank School Council has two upcoming holiday activities planned: a raffle in conjunction with the Holiday Showcase on December 15th (snow day date December 18th) and the Holiday Bake Sale and Cake Walk on December 7th.
Holiday Showcase Raffle: We will be holding a raffle for VIP parking and seating at the Holiday Showcase on Friday December 15th from 8:45-10:15am in the gym. You may purchase raffle tickets for $2/ticket and the winners of the draw will receive a VIP parking spot (right outside door B) and 4 seats in the front row at the showcase. Please complete the form attached below, including the number of raffle tickets you wish to purchase. Return the form and raffle money to your child’s teacher by Friday December 8th. Admission to the Holiday Showcase is free.
Bake Sale and Cake Walk: We are asking the following groups to provide a selection of baked goods for the bake sale on December 7th; Les Papillons, the Monarchs, the Banana Splits, Les Ninjas and The Shadows. These five classes would help this time, and other classes would be called upon in February and April for our next bake sales. Please send cookies, cupcakes or squares (nut free please) to school with your child on Thursday, December 7th. You or your child can bring them to the foyer before class on that day. In addition, we are looking for a few parents to provide us with some specific allergen free (gluten free, egg free, dairy free, etc.) baked goods, if you are able to help with this please email kimjohnson47@hotmail.com directly. A separate table will be reserved for items prepared without any of the most common serious allergens. This table will only be available for our few students with allergies.
Students will be invited down by class to purchase a treat at the sale; cupcakes will be sold for $1 and cookies/squares for 50¢. In addition, students may purchase tickets for the cakewalk for $1/4 tickets. They can put their names in the raffle boxes for the cake of their choice. The winning tickets will then be drawn later that afternoon and the parents contacted so that you can make arrangements to pick up the cake after school. Parents with students in any class are encouraged to prepare a cake. As always, volunteers are needed to make this event possible.
